Hello Parents and Guardians,
The first week of school was amazing! Our eagles are adjusting to school and our new COVID-19 policies well. Below you will find important updates and reminders.
As you may know, Smartcare is our school’s management system. Through Smartcare, your child’s teacher will share important updates with you. To view these updates, you must download the Smartcare parent app. This is also where you manage tuition payments and billing. For additional information or assistance, please email email@example.com.
BOLPA Pickup Policy
If someone other than the parent/guardian or authorized adult is picking up your child, advance notification is required from the parent/guardian (via email or other written authorization). This helps regulate safety for your child. Please include the child’s name, the parent's name, the authorized adult, and the date in all authorization letters. Also, include if the pickup person is allowed to pick up the child in the future.
Photo ID, the family passcode, and written communication are required when someone other than the parent/guardian is picking up the child. Only adults (18 yrs. and older) will be allowed to pick up a child. The family passcode was created during the registration process. For assistance regarding your family passcode, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Morning Drop off - 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Please make sure to watch carefully around you and drive slowly when dropping your scholar off in the morning.
● Please pull up to the front of the school and wait until you get to the front door before you let your child out of the car. We will have someone there to assist them with getting into the building.
● Please wait until their temperature has been checked before driving off.
● We ask that parents drive at a safe speed on the parking lot. Speeding is not allowed under any circumstances.
● All scholars must be dropped off through the carline. Parents are not allowed to walk their child to the door and should not cross the red line under any circumstances.
Afternoon Pickup - 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (K5-2nd) and 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (K2-K4)
The academic day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. for all students. When picking up early, please call the front office upon arrival.
Unlike morning drop off, many are in line at once for afternoon pickup. It is important to keep the flow of traffic for all cars. Please pull up to the orange cone on the left of your vehicle. We ask that you not get out of your vehicle to converse with other parents. Also, please do not drive around a car that is in line. For the safety of everyone, please wait in line.
Our goal is to get everyone through the line as quickly as possible while making sure the students stay safe. Teachers will be there to walk students to your car and you will assist them with getting strapped into their seats. Thank you so much for reading this and for your extra attention to parking lot safety.
It is important that all of your scholar’s belongings are labeled so that items are not misplaced. Backpacks, reusable masks, shoes, and jackets are all among items that should be labeled. Labeling your eagle’s things helps us stay organized. Please note that BOLPA is not responsible for any lost items.
On Wednesdays, we will have chapel service. Scholars should come in their white chapel shirts every Wednesday.
Students in K2 and K3 are not allowed to wear jumpers.
Unfortunately, scholars are not allowed to wear shorts.
The spirit shirt ordering deadline was this past Monday and orders are expected to be fulfilled next month.
We do our best to return calls and messages as soon as possible, but please allow 24 hours for a response to an email. To get in touch with your eagle’s teacher, please view our staff directory at www.bolpp.org/staff for their email and web addresses. If you should ever need to schedule a meeting with your child’s teacher, please email them and they will set a virtual meeting time that works for both parties.
As a reminder, registration documents are past due. If you are yet to complete your child’s registration, please do so as soon as possible. Please email email@example.com for assistance.
